Nyree Christianian holds degrees in Fashion Design from the Fashion Institute of Technology & Design, and Business and Design from Northeastern University with a minor in Fashion History, graduating Magna Cum Laude from both institutions.

Nyree's Capstone project was selected to exhibit in the FIT Museum and the Coterie Exhibit.

Her expertise spans the full lifecycle of garment development: ideation, tech packs, pattern making, fit analysis, and construction. This was honed through hands-on design roles at PRISCAVera and Araks Lingerie & Swim.

At ELLE Magazine, she led editorial operations as Fashion Closet Manager, learning the strategy and sharpening her instinct for storytelling through wardrobe curation, sample sourcing, and high-pressure shoot coordination.

[ABOUT]

DSC_8875_edited.jpg

I see the world through a lens of cloth.

I recognize the superficiality of fashion as the first layer, underneath lies a sociological explanation. An anthropological footprint worn by every person on this planet.

I believe in the maintenance of craft through the capitalistic industry of fashion. I aspire to precision and am committed to unearthing the beauty amongst the unexpected. I have a deep love of drawing and draping to uncover that nuanced line and have grown my abilities as a pattern maker to make lightning strike twice.
